"Quick coupler" is a broad term encompassing a wide range of industrial product accessories, generally categorized into hydraulic quick-release couplings and excavator quick couplers. Excavator quick couplers-also referred to simply as quick couplers or quick-change heads-enable the rapid attachment of various accessories (such as digging buckets, rippers, hydraulic breakers, and hydraulic shears) to an excavator. This capability expands the excavator's operational versatility, while simultaneously saving time and boosting work efficiency.
Quick couplers are classified as structural components; they consist of several constituent parts, including a main frame, movable locking blocks, hydraulic cylinders, and pins. The manufacturing process for quick couplers involves a series of stages, such as material cutting, turning, milling, drilling, forming, welding, grinding, sandblasting, painting, and assembly. As specialized accessories for heavy industrial machinery, quick couplers require the use of dedicated equipment to ensure high-efficiency and high-quality production. Such specialized machinery includes CNC plasma cutters, beveling machines, plate rolling machines, welding positioners, boring machines, and hydraulic test benches.
