Excavator Clamshell Grab
This excavator clamshell grab is intended for digging and handling bulk materials on site. It is mainly used to grab sand, gravel, soil and construction waste, and can be installed on excavators between 3 tons and 45 tons.
When working with loose materials, ordinary buckets often leak and spill. This type of grab uses two hydraulic-driven shells to close and hold materials tightly, reducing waste during lifting and moving.
The structure is made of wear-resistant steel to ensure strength during long-term use. The weight is properly matched with the excavator, so it does not cause extra burden to the machine's hydraulic system.
We provide two configurations: rotating and non-rotating. The 360° rotating type is suitable for narrow working areas such as trenches and ports. The non-rotating type is simpler in structure and is mostly used for daily loading and unloading.
The two hydraulic cylinders drive the shells at the same time, keeping the movement stable. This design helps avoid jamming when dealing with irregular materials.
Installation uses a universal interface. It can be connected to most quick couplers without extra modification, making replacement between attachments more efficient.
